The Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary- Cebu diligently employs a multidimensional, faith-driven, and human-centered approach to development. We diligently adhere to our core elements of approach in accordance with our mission development plan, which integrates spiritual, social, and material aspects of human growth that are grounded in compassion, inclusion, and justice.

We employ Missionary Approach to Development Interventions (MADI) to create transformational interventions that honor and prioritize beneficiaries. Our Disability Inclusive Development Approach empowers for persons with disabilities to actively take part of the program instead of being a mere recipient. Following the principle of the ‘Reaching the Furthest Behind First Approach’ we ensure to reach the most in need individuals in the community and ‘leave no one behind’.

Furthermore, through our community sensitization program, we empower communities by instilling knowledge on special education, physical and occupational therapy relevant interventions and human rights, equity and justice.
